Beaches Youth Hub

Beaches Youth Hub needed a bold and energetic rebrand that spoke to young people while maintaining trust and credibility with parents. Through a carefully crafted strategy, we developed a fresh new identity that captures their mission of support, connection, and community. From a hand-drawn logo inspired by the iconic shakka symbol to a full suite of branding assets—including Canva kits and a custom merchandise lineup—we helped bring their vision to life. The result? A dynamic, recognisable brand that truly represents the heart of the Northern Beaches youth community.

Beaches Youth Hub, formerly known as Avalon Youth Club, approached us with a vision to revitalise their brand—one that would be bold, youthful, and engaging for a younger audience while still resonating with parents and the broader community. As a dedicated Northern Beaches youth service providing free support, counselling, and workshops, it was essential that their new brand identity reflected both energy and approachability.

We developed a comprehensive branding strategy that positioned Beaches Youth Hub as a welcoming and dynamic organisation. This included a full business strategy, custom Canva kits for consistent digital and print branding, a fresh visual identity, and a fully realised merchandise line for their team. The centrepiece of their rebrand was a hand-drawn logo, developed through an extensive creative process of refining concepts and exploring ideas. We ultimately landed on the ‘shakka’ symbol—an iconic representation of beach culture, relaxation, and connection. More than just a nod to the Northern Beaches lifestyle, the shakka is a universal gesture of friendship and inclusivity, making it the perfect emblem for a youth-focused community hub.

Through strategic branding and thoughtful design, we transformed Beaches Youth Hub into a bold, recognisable, and inviting brand that speaks directly to young people while fostering trust and engagement with parents and the wider community.
