We shifted the content mix away from traditional golf-only marketing and towards authentic, people-led storytelling, member spotlights, junior golf development, Friday night pizzas, club events and everyday clubhouse moments that show Wakehurst as a place to relax, eat and connect, not just play a round.

The results have followed the strategy. Social engagement has grown month on month, with interactions up over 22,000% and impressions up over 1,300% in a single month alone, driven almost entirely by community-focused content outperforming anything overly promotional. Members are renewing for another consecutive year, more social golf games are being booked, and the clubhouse is fielding growing interest from local families keen to try the dining experience for themselves.

It helps that our managing director is more than a little obsessed with golf. That genuine passion for the game, and for club culture, shows up in the way we talk to Wakehurst's members and the wider Northern Beaches community.
