Gage Roads Brew Co
Brand Activation at the Noosa Festival of Surfing
Brandid Media is the Official Event Marketing Partner of the Noosa Festival of Surfing, Australia's largest surfing lifestyle festival. Beyond festival delivery, Brandid works with sponsor brands directly to turn festival partnerships into long-term marketing assets, and Gage Roads Brew Co is a strong example of that model in action.
For the 2026 Festival, Brandid worked with Gage Roads on two fronts: a professional content shoot capturing the brand in its natural environment, and a physical brand activation, a 10 day pop-up beach bar on Noosa Main Beach featuring draught tap beer and live music programming.
The beach bar sat at the heart of the festival's daily rhythm, running from midday to 8pm across the full 10 days and drawing an average of around 2,600 visitors per day, with beer accounting for over half of all drink sales at the venue. Live music kept the space energised through peak afternoon and evening hours, giving Gage Roads direct, sustained face time with a highly engaged, on-brand crowd of surfers, families and coastal lifestyle consumers.
The content shoot component meant the value of the partnership didn't end when the festival did. Brandid's in-house videography and photography team produced tailored footage that Gage Roads could repurpose across its own social and digital channels well beyond festival week, extending reach far past the 40,000 visitors on-site.
This project reflects how Brandid approaches sponsor partnerships more broadly: not as a single deliverable, but as an integrated package of physical activation, hospitality and content production designed to work together. Whether it's a festival, a retail launch or a brand campaign, the same model applies, use the moment to create a real-world experience, and capture it in a way that keeps working for the brand long after the event wraps.
Capturing Australia's leading independent brewery in its element
-
As a major partner of the Noosa Festival of Surfing, Gage Roads needed content that did double duty: showcase their presence at one of the country's biggest surf events, and reinforce their position as Australia's leading independent brewery. Brandid Media delivered a full content package built around imagery and video, mirroring the approach we took for fellow festival partner Coffee Supreme.
-
Produced a strong photography library on-site, shot by Melissa Hoareau and our broader photography team
Filmed and edited a hero video capturing Gage Roads' festival presence and brand story
Managed and produced several other reels and a video library they could use during the festival and for months after
Positioned the content to sell both the moment (NFOS) and the brand (Australia's leading independent brewery)
-
As a result, we produced a content library of professional images and video that gave Gage Roads a genuine, on-the-ground presence at NFOS to use well beyond the festival itself, across social, sponsorship recaps and future brand storytelling. The reel in particular has significant reach and was one of the best performing posts for Gage Roads that year.
